Aboth 4.2

Aboth 4:2 Ben Azzai says, “Run after the most minor religious duty as after the most important, and flee from transgression. “For doing one religious duty draws in its wake doing yet another, and doing one transgression draws in its wake doing yet another. “For the reward of doing a religious duty is a religious duty, and the reward of doing a transgression is a transgression.”[1]
