Nazarean Talmud

Nazarean Talmud
We want to show the rational behind terminology and the structure of the documents published here on Torah Focus.

Nazarean Codicil
We refer to the so called (New Testament) with the word “Codicil). Here our intention is to believe that the “Codicil” helps to understand the Torah (Five books of Moshe – Moses). We also suggest that the Nazarean Codicil can in no way abrogate any truth set forth in the Torah.
Furthermore, the laws of the Torah, the handwritten – “letters” or “gospels” notes may qualify as a valid testamentary disposition. … A codicil is an additional formal legal supplemental document, to be read in conjunction to the written Torah, through which the will G-d (also known as a “testator”) known to those who seek to live a life as Tsaddikim, “men of Holiness.”

Nazarean Talmud
The combined readings of the “Gospels” with various “Letters” of the differing Talmidim (disciples). This is based on the principle of PaRDeS Hermeneutics. We attribute all the readings of Hakham Tsefet (Peter) to the Hermeneutic of Peshat, the plain simple literal meaning of the text. The work of Hakham Shaul (Paul) of Luke we treat as a Tosefta, meaning additional meanings to the Peshat. The other books letters and writing fit into Remes, and allegorical interpretation of the text and narrative. Midrash which deals with Kingly issues and finally So’od the deeply mystical writings mostly of Hakham Yochanan (John).
The combination of these documents follows a structure similar to the Talmud. Here we also opine that the Nazarean Talmidim of Yeshua were the first to use this structure which was thereafter followed by the Jewish redactors of the Talmud.
These structured writings are to be read with the Triennial Torah reading cycles. The posted Nazarean Codicil will have a reference to the Triennial Torah Reading for each week.

Nazareans
We refer to the followers of Yeshua as Nazareans. This is not a reference to Nazareth as many may suppose. The following shows that there is a possibility that Yeshua was not from Nazareth but from the city of Tzfat. There is a great deal of controversy concerning the title “Nazareth” as the place where Yeshua “grew up” or resided during his early years. Nazareth is not mentioned in any Jewish literature i.e. Mishnah, Talmud, Midrash or Josephus. The etymology of the word seems to be related to the idea that Messiah would be from the stock or “branch” of David. Further research shows that נָצַר (Natzr) also means to guard or watch. Therefore, it is suggested that the “City of Branches” or the “City of “Guardians” or “City of Watchmen” is Tzfat. Consequently, this would make Tzfat the actual place of Yeshua’s early residence. This interpretation seems to be more in line with the thought of Yeshua being from the “branch” of Jessie (Davidic stock). Given the Remes interpretation of the present materials we would suggest that Yeshua was the “guardian, watchman of the “soul,” “Oral Torah,” “Wisdom” – Hokhmah and Tzfat was the “secret garden” or “garden of secrets” (So’od). Those who are the Talmidim of Yeshua are given the same task of guarding the tradition of Messiah and the forefathers.

Mesorah
We refer to the so called “Gospels” as the “Mesorah.” This means Tradition. Thus, we have the “Tradition that was handed down from Yeshua to his Talmidim who in turn handed it down to their Talmidim etc. This is a modified version of Pirke Aboth … Aboth 1.1 Moshe received (kibal) Torah at Sinai and handed (Mesorah) it on to Yeshua, Yeshua to his Talmidim, and to their Talmidim.

Orthodoxy
We must also state that for us we believe in Jewish orthodoxy. We are not dogmatic about this issue. This is a personal opinion and our readers may or may not agree. We have no “axe to grind” per se. This lifestyle gives great insight to Yeshua and Messiah. We believe that Yeshua was an Orthodox Rabbi from the Pharisaic School of the Great Torah Master Hillel. Furthermore, we note that Yeshua was opposed to the Shammaite School of P’rushim (Pharisees). This accounts for a great deal of conflict in the Nazarean Codicil that is read.
There are a great number of other things that must be explained. We will try to the best of our ability to explain any question as quick as is reasonably possible.
