Subtle Changes

Subtle Changes are happeninDashboardg on Torah Fucus.

Torah Focus has always grown through steady, subtle change. When this work first began in 2008, the material was posted under “Arba 4.” After some time, the Arba 4 family of sites was hacked by a Jordanian hacker, and the data was lost. That loss made it necessary to rebuild Torah Focus. Over the years, this kind of setback has happened about four times, which means the development of this work has often required patience, endurance, and rebuilding.

After the most recent hack, Torah Focus was restructured to fit the ministry as it now stands. Because my regular workflow has remained heavily centered on teaching, writing, and ongoing research, many of the pages listed at the top of the site have remained only lightly developed. At this stage, retirement has opened the way for more focused time and energy, making it possible to rebuild the larger structure as it was always intended to be and to begin filling it with both current material and valuable work from the archives.

That means the titles and pages at the top of Torah Focus will now begin receiving more regular attention. My desire is to build here the same kind of working library that I use daily in study, teaching, and writing. To view the changes, just mouse over the title headers at the top of the pages and then click the desired page you want to see.

Several areas are already moving forward:

  1. Audio teachings are now being posted more regularly.

  2. Archived material will be uploaded steadily.

  3. The Nazarean Codicil has been a field of labor since 2007–2008, and that material is now being refined and reposted on Torah Focus along with other studies.

  4. Thursday night classes will continue to be posted, together with notes or handouts whenever those are prepared.

  5. Sunday morning teaching has now continued for a little over two years, and there is a large amount of archived material from my PC files that will be added over time.

  6. Deep Spirituality remains one of the major fields of study on this site and has stood at the center of my focus since I began writing and publishing books that are now available on Amazon.

The overall architecture of Torah Focus may shift as this library continues to grow, so stay tuned and take time to explore the site. Questions or comments may be sent to rabbidr.eliyahu@charter.net.
