<p style="font-size: 12pt">If the Believer is to live a Torah observant lifestyle what was nailed to the cross? (Col 2:13-17) Some translations suggest that the Torah (Law) has been nailed to the Cross.</p>
<p style="font-size: 12pt">The following translation is the Phillips translation of the Biblical text.</p>

<p style="font-size: 12pt">He has forgiven you all your sins: Christ has utterly wiped out the damning evidence of broken laws and commandments which always hung over our heads, and has completely annulled it by nailing it over his own head on the cross.</p>

<p style="font-size: 12pt">We discuss the language of this text and explore the use of the Greek words δομα, (dogma) κρινω (krino) and  νομος (nomos.)</p>
<p style="font-size: 12pt">We also discuss this passage as well as the wall that was broken down in Shaul&#8217;s letter to the Ephesians. (Eph 2:11-16ff)</p>
