First Century in Review Part 2
After reviewing our favorite readings of the Torah Seder we began to look at the various aspects of the Nazarean Codicil.
We looked at the evidence for Jewish Nazarean Codicil (New Testament). After looking at the material from a first century Roman perspective we could easily see that the Nazarean Codicil is Jewish in content.
When we looked at the issue of evidence we realized that our problems with understanding the Nazarean Codicil is not its content but its interpretation. Therefore, we resolved that we must learn to take the appropriate interpretive approach to see its content authentically.
We also learned that that the interpretative process is so essential that if we use that wrong interpretative mechanisms we will come to false conclusions.
